Warranty Information

Your BeachGroomer Water Pump is covered for one year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear and tear, damage from improper installation, or using the system outside its intended specifications are not covered. If you experience any issues during your first year, call 800.817.1850 and we'll diagnose the problem and handle repairs or replacements at no cost to you.

Do I need the complete package or just the pump?

If you already have a filtration system, suction hose, check valve, and pump base—you just need the pump. If you're starting from scratch or missing any components, our Complete Pump Packages include everything and save you money versus buying pieces separately. When should I use an overhaul kit instead of buying a new pump?

How long do these pumps actually last?

With basic annual maintenance, Little Giant and Goulds cast iron pumps typically last 10-15+ years. Some customers report 20+ years. The cast iron construction doesn't deteriorate like plastic. Eventually you'll need to replace seals (that's what overhaul kits are for), but the pump body and motor are built to last decades.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

Not necessarily. If you already have outdoor power where your old pump was, it's a direct swap—disconnect old pump, connect new pump (same as connecting an appliance). If you're installing power for the first time or need a dedicated circuit, yes, hire an electrician for that part.
