Have had the Beach Groomer for about 20 yrs. It worked great but got tired, so I got an aqua thruster a few years ago. It blows the leaves that have sunk away but did not blow the rooted weeds away. It just didn’t work as well as the Beach Groomer. So I picked up a new hose (the old one had cracks due to age) and rebuilt the Beach Groomer and it is back clearing out the weeds and muck. It just works better for clearing out rooted weeds than a blower does.
